The program is looking for hardworking, serious, and bright people from diverse backgrounds and with different experience. Successful applicants are proactive self-starters, college graduates, college studentspeople who are willing to make the most out of every situation and seek out opportunities instead of waiting for them to happen.
The Internship Experience
As an intern, program participants work in the WIFTA office for a total of 30 days during the Internship period, which will run from September 2005 through December 2005. Interns' work schedule can be personalized to accommodate their schedule, however they must work a minimum of one full day per week.
Interns provide clerical support to the organization's general operations, as well as to its member and program activities. Interns will also provide assistance at WIFTA events. Time worked at an event is applied toward their 30-day commitment.
