She was an Associate Fitness Editor for Chatelaine Magazine and regular Expert on the Steven and Chris show. Because if you want to reach your highest potential and generally kick ass at life - it starts with feeling good right NOW. Her outdoor Bootcamp company was recognized by NOW Magazine Readers as one of the best “gyms” in Toronto, but her primary focus right now is her five star reviewed online fitness program. When she’s not training, she’s playing Star Wars with her five year old and seven year old sons.

Lao Tzo once said "a good traveler has no fixed plans , and is not intent on arriving". Despite her early days of thinking she had her life clearly mapped out, Karli Taylor has proven to be a pretty damn good traveler. With an education in Criminology, fitness wasn't Karli's original career path. Like it does with most people who are passionate about health and wellness, the fitness industry found her. Her own battle with body image and eating disorders led her to seek information to strengthen her own body and mind. Her passion was so apparent that people started to ask her for help and guidance in their own fitness journeys. Knowing her limits at the time, Karli decided to study to become a certified personal trainer. One certification led to two and as the letters after her name multiplied quickly, it became clear that she was not going to pursue her childhood dream of joining the FBI. Wanting to impact more lives, Karli became certified to teach other trainers. She took a position with a health club chain that allowed her to learn the ins and outs of the business side of the industry. Dealing with a few nagging injuries, she decided to try yoga to improve her flexibility. She quickly learned that yoga was so much more than stretching, and when faced with a major career change it was yoga that allowed her to stay sane. Karli now is the owner of a small studio offering yoga, barre and Spinning. She recently completed her 200 hour RYT and teaches anatomy for The Pure Warrior Yoga School in Albany. Her most recent venture is the development of BarreFlow, a barre fitness program based on the principles of corrective exercise for which she has always had a passion. You can be certain of this: Her journey does not end here.
