Empowering clients on their journey to fitness, health and wellbeing….Fitness can and should be fun! The decision to get and stay fit can transform your life. I truly believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a full, happy and long healthy life. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Additionally, I hold an Advanced Certification as a Senior Fitness Specialist with ACE and a Functional Aging Exercise Specialist with FAI. My goal is to empower clients to get in their best shape and feel good, regardless of their age, size or fitness level. I have had the pleasure of teaching fitness classes for all ages including youth and senior populations. When I work with clients I design safe, effective exercise programs including strength training, functional conditioning (activities of daily living), weight loss, balance, flexibility, cardio endurance and to improve overall health. I offer group classes, in-home and on-site training. Running is also something I enjoy, having competed in over 30 races including full and half marathons. I live in Beacon Hill with my husband and sporty, yet girlie, 14 year old daughter. I have a BA in Psychology and Human Development and I am certified in First Aid and CPR/AED. Recently I was named to the Top 5 Boston A-List, Best of Boston Personal Trainer. I am a member of the American Council on Exercise, The Aerobic and Fitness Association of America, the Senior Fitness Association of America, the Function Aging Institute, The Women in Fitness Association and IDEA Health & Fitness Association. It is my hope to empower clients on their own personal journey to fitness, health and wellbeing. I look forward to speaking with you about how we can fulfill your fitness goals!
