This week's Feature Friday sponsored by MoHagan.com is highlighting, WIFA Women, Barbara Mascialino and Marg Mayne! Read on to learn more.

A passion for fitness and health, with a comprehensive and impressive background, allows Barbara to excel as the Center’s Group Fitness Manager. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts from New York University, and a Master of Arts degree in holistic health studies from Georgian Court University. Her master’s thesis, which involved a research study on Group Fitness class participation and spirituality, is being reviewed for publication. Barbara is certified by the American Council on Exercise and the World Instructor Training Schools. She holds numerous other certifications and licenses. Barbara spent 15 years as a Tax Reporting and Compliance Director for a Wall Street firm. In 2003, she retired from that position as the result of a serious car accident. After taking time to heal, she resumed her Group Fitness teaching career where she was fulfilled by instructing a variety of classes. Her mission is to nurture a Group Fitness program that extends beyond demonstration of proper physical movement. She and her staff strive to foster a connection among students and instructors, where fitness goals are reached in a supportive, fun environment. When not sharing encouragement and talent at the Center or attending fitness conferences, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and rescued pets.

Marg joined Mytime Active as Chief Executive in August 2014. She has always been committed to social progress and supporting organisations to achieve their social objectives by applying commercial disciplines. She enjoys the challenge of managing both aspects to create a better world in a way that can be financially sustained. Originally trained as a Chartered Accountant, her early career was as a finance professional, later Finance Director, for two leading Housing Associations during a decade of rapid growth in that sector. Marg then moved to the British Council as the Director of Finance and Resources globally. In 2008 Marg took up the role of Chief Executive of VSO, the international development NGO that works through volunteers. Marg has had a series of non-executive roles as Chair and Trustee of various organisations, including Asra Housing Association, the Nationwide Foundation, the Akram Khan Dance Company and Stour Valley Arts, a visual arts organisation close to where she lives in Kent.
