WIFA's First Global Health Club Partner

May 1, 2019 The Women In Fitness Association (WIFA)  is excited to announce they have partnered with Virgin ActiveSouth East Asia to on board forty-one women from Virgin Active SEA facilities as individual WIFA members. Fourteen women from Virgin Active locations in Singapore and twenty-seven women from locations in Thailand are now valued WIFA members. This is the associations first global health club partner. WIFA is humbled and thrilled to have these 41 women as members and is looking forward to collaborating with the global health club brand.

 Lindsey Rainwater, Founder and CEO of WIFA says, “It has been an aspiration of ours to collaborate with a global health club chain that has chosen to support the career development of their female employees. WIFA is very grateful Virgin Active has chosen to work with us in this way supporting women in fitness.  In order to make true changes to the number of women in leadership roles, we must collaborate with companies willing to support their women excelling internally, and VA is demonstrating that, we are looking forward to this growing partnership.”

Lindsey has been working with David Norman, Head of Fitness of Virgin Active SEA to bring this initiative to life. He shared, “I’m super excited to bring the WIFA initiative to Virgin Active SEA, we have great females in this business but having such a forum to grow and support females who work with and inspire other females (and males) I hope will be part of the catalyst for inspiration, aspiration and respect for more female leaders in a currently male dominated industry in this region”
