WIFA is celebrating our 3rd birthday with a 3 day virtual summit! There will be 6 workouts, 6 speakers, a happy hour and bonus family fun POUND Rockout Workout to end the week with a bang!

We have brought together some of the top speakers and instructors in the industry to share their week with you. Topics we will cover: The Future of Fitness, Generating Revenue on a Budget, Heart Centered Leadership in a Time of Change, and more. We will also be having live virtual workouts with limited equipment. From yoga to barre to dance and all the above!

"Re-Designing the Life of Your Dreams" with Lindsey Rainwater, June 1st @12pm MST: Lindsey, is an experienced business advisor, executive coach and the founder of The Women in Fitness Association (WIFA). She is known for her work advising businesses on their internal processes and systems, her original published content, additionally supporting individuals in transformational change and leadership development. Lindsey is a widely published author, has been featured in many podcasts, books, facilitated keynote talks and workshops. In 2017, IHRSA recognized her as a “Rising Star”.  Her intention is to help individuals and organizations enjoy necessary change in order to succeed. She is a mama to two dynamic little boys and doggie. Lindsey and her husband live in the Colorado Rockies where you can find them enjoying the outdoors.

 

 

"The Future of Fitness" with Emma Barry, June 1st @2pm PT: Emma, is a global fitness authority who consults to the fastest-growing segments in fitness: boutique studios, budget clubs, digital workouts and fit-tech startups. A founding member of Les Mills International and former Director of Programming for Equinox, Emma is fluent in what happens next in fitness. She is a sought-after speaker for events around the world, serves on a number of boards and advisories and delights in lighting fires under people and projects.

 

 

 

 

"Smashing Your Own Glass Ceiling" with Dynasti Hunt, June 3rd @12pm PT: Dynasti, is founder of the www.dynastihunt.com, a platform focused on developing and supporting women to break their imposter syndrome, in the fitness industry and beyond as well as a Lead Trainer and Instructor at Uforia Studios (Bay Area). As an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Indoor Cycling (Schwinn), she is committed to leading sweaty sessions across the Bay Area that incorporate heavy-hitting beats, exercises that push you past your limits and creating environments that push you to dig deeper and go harder. Dynasti’s fitness journey started off accidentally, as she began to seek out classes as a way to stop her own personal burn-out from long days of work. Once she began taking classes, she noticed that everyone who was leading classes had the same approach: same music, same style, and externally, looked the same, from age to body type to how they identified racially. Passionate about wanting to see the group fitness space move away from a homogenous approach, Dynasti became a Group Fitness Coach and is deeply committed to helping diverse instructors own their story and their space in the fitness community.

 

"Heart Centered Leadership in Times of Change" with Petra Kolber, June 3rd @2pm PT: Petra, is an author, speaker, podcast host and most recently a DJ. In August 2018, Petra released her first book, The Perfection Detox which was recently translated into French and Spanish. Petra has over thirty years of experience in the wellness industry and was honored to receive 2001 IDEA Fitness Instructor of the Year and Canfitpro 2018 Specialty Presenter of the Year. She is a certified performance coach with a specialty in positive psychology. As a two-time cancer survivor, she is passionate about waking people up to the precious gift of time and works with individuals and companies to help them get unstuck so they can become unstoppable.

"Female Empowerment: Finding Insight, Resilience, and Meaning for You and Your Clients" with Leanne Shear, June 5th @2pm PT: Leanne, founded Uplift, a progressive fitness studio and female society. It offered group classes, personal training and a multitude of events outside of fitness related to career, relationships, finances, and well-being (panels, retreats, workshops) that empowered women in all aspects of their lives. She closed Uplift's doors in 2019, and is currently consulting for a variety of businesses, writing her next book, and working on a concept for her next company, centered in female empowerment education. "Off the Barre" With Becca Voelpel from Soulbody Barre, June 1st @9am ET: Rebecca Voelpel is a former professional dancer and collegiate athlete. She now takes her passion for movement into the fitness space to make fitness available and fun for everyone! Rebecca is a certified ACE Group Instructor and SoulBody Fitness Program Director and Instructor. Through SoulBody, Rebecca aims to create innovative choreography paired with motivating music to inspire our instructors to share with their own SoulBody classes, globally. Currently, she teaches locally in the Baltimore, MD area as well as virtually. In addition to her passion for fitness, she holds a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration and is enthusiastic about bringing her knowledge of health and wellness into the community through engaging events and classes.

"Booty/Core HIIT" with Jourdan Baldwin, June 3rd @9am MST: Jourdan, has been in the fitness and training industry for over 13 years. She received her BS in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in 2012 and since then has helped open gyms and trained trainers in Jordan and Dubai, was voted Denver's top trainer from Spark Magazine, is the fitness event director for Nurture (Denver's new wellness marketplace) and runs her own personal training business in Denver, Colorado. She specializes in women's fitness, and approaches training from a habit and lifestyle change perspective, incorporating breath work, mindful eating and goal setting into her functional based programming.
 
 
 
 
 
 
"Hot Booty Ballet" with Suaad Ghadban, June 3rd @4pm PT: Suaad, is a leading fitness and health expert. She is well-known for her personal and unique approach to fitness that draws its inspiration from her extensive background in dance, gymnastics and circus training. Suaad is a former World Dance and Sports Aerobic Champion, and she holds a College degree in Sports and Leisure and a B.A. & Sc. in Therapeutic recreation. With 15 years of teaching experience and 22 years of training under her belt, Suaad has created a very fun, effective ballet inspired booty program called Hot Booty Ballet. "All Levels Flow Yoga" with Alicia Tillman, June 5th @9am CT: Alicia, aka Awkward Yoga girl, is a former basketball player turned yogi. With her love of the traditional practice mixed with her humor and musicality, she is able to create a yoga experience like no other. Her ability to challenge students of all levels, while creating a fun and comfortable environment for the student to grow in their practice on and off the mat. With a focus on yoga for athletes and performance, she is able to create a practice to benefit the movement in all body types from professional to the everyday athlete. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

"Fierce together! Dance Like Everyone is Watching! GROOV3" with Natalie Brown, June 5th @4pm PT:

Having danced all of her life in her home town in Germany (mostly behind closed doors), Natalie decided about a decade ago that it was time to step outside of her comfort zone and share her passion with the world. Upon moving to LA Natalie started teaching Zumba, which lead her to become certified as a Master Trainer in BollyX living her dream - helping others break out of their shell through dance fitness. Natalie has appeared on POPSUGAR, Shark Tank as well as fitness stages around the world. She currently teaches GROOV3 classes, which are just the right mix of dance, fitness and fun - the goal is to make everyone feel and look like Beyoncé’s backup dancer. Natalie is excited to share this choreography based workout with WIFA, helping women feel comfortable and beautiful through dance.
 
 
 
"BONUS POUND Rockout Workout for the Whole Family" with Shannon Roentved, June 6th @9am PT: Shannon, currently serves as the Director of Education for POUND Rockout. Workout. After receiving her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Dance, Shannon went on to pursue a Master’s in Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science, focusing her research on exercise performance and perceptions in public school children grades K-8. Shannon started her career in fitness as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, going on to receive several group fitness licenses in addition to group fitness certifications through ACE and AFAA. It was becoming a master trainer for POUND that ultimately led Shannon to discovering her passion for presenting and fitness education.
